📝 How to Apply — Step by Step

  1. For Sukanya Samriddhi Account (key BBBP benefit): visit any post office or authorised bank in West Bengal
  2. Fill the Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana account opening form
  3. Deposit minimum ₹250 (maximum ₹1.5 lakh/year) for 15 years
  4. Account matures when girl turns 21 (50% withdrawal allowed at 18 for education)
  5. For cash incentives on institutional delivery: register pregnancy at nearest government hospital or Sub-Centre
  6. BBBP awareness programmes: contact your local Anganwadi Centre or CDPO (Child Development Project Officer)
