📋 Scheme Overview
Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana – Gramin (PMAY-G) aims to provide pucca houses with basic amenities to all homeless rural households and those living in kutcha or dilapidated houses. Each beneficiary receives financial assistance to construct a house.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
- Homeless households or those living in kutcha/dilapidated houses
- Families listed in SECC 2011 data
- SC/ST, minorities, widows, disabled persons prioritised
- Must not own a pucca house anywhere in India

- ₹1.20 lakh assistance in plain areas
- ₹1.30 lakh in hilly/difficult areas and NE states
- ₹12,000 for toilet construction under SBM
- 90 days unskilled labour wage under MGNREGS
📝 How to Apply — Step by Step
- Check eligibility via AwaasSoft portal or Gram Panchayat
- Contact your local Gram Panchayat or Block Development Officer
- Submit application with required documents
- SECC data is used for verification — no separate application in most cases
- Funds transferred directly to bank account via DBT
