📋 Scheme Overview
Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana 3.0 provides free LPG connections to women from deprived households in West Bengal, replacing harmful cooking fuels like wood, coal, and cow dung. The upgraded 3.0 version simplifies eligibility with a self-declaration system, benefiting migrant workers and women without permanent address proof. West Bengal, with large rural and tribal pockets in areas like Purulia, Bankura, and Jhargram, is a key focus state for clean cooking fuel access.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
- Women aged 18+ from BPL or low-income households in West Bengal
- Must not already possess an LPG connection
- Priority: SC/ST, PMAY beneficiaries, AAY cardholders, forest dwellers, tea garden workers, river island dwellers
- Migrants/women without permanent address: self-declaration accepted under 3.0 (no address proof needed)

📝 How to Apply — Step by Step
- Visit your nearest LPG distributor (Indian Oil, Bharat Gas, or HP Gas) in West Bengal
- Or apply online at mylpg.in under the "Ujjwala" section
- Fill the Ujjwala application form and submit Aadhaar for eKYC
- For migrants: submit self-declaration form — no address proof required
- Link your Aadhaar to your bank account for subsidy under PAHAL scheme
- Connection issued within 7 working days; first cylinder delivered within 15 days
