📋 Scheme Overview
Rythu Bandhu (Farmer's Friend) provides investment support to farmers at the beginning of each crop season to help purchase seeds, fertilisers, pesticides, and other inputs without taking loans.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
- All landholder farmers in Telangana
- Based on land records (Pahani/RoR)
- Both wet and dry land farmers eligible
- Tenant farmers not eligible (only landowners)
🎁 Benefits & Features
- ₹5,000 per acre per crop season (₹10,000 per year per acre)
- Two seasons: Kharif (June) and Rabi (November)
- Direct cheque/DBT to farmer
- No repayment required — it's a grant
📝 How to Apply — Step by Step
- No separate application needed — based on existing land records
- Ensure Pahani (land record) is updated at Mee Seva Centre
- Link bank account with Aadhaar at village revenue office
- Amount credited automatically before each season
- Check status at rythubandhu.telangana.gov.in
